About Jaipur (Pink City)

Jaipur city is the capital of Rajasthan state, northwestern India. It is situated in the east-central part of the state, roughly equidistant from Alwar (northeast) and Ajmer (southwest). It is Rajasthan’s most-populous city, Jaipur is also known as the Pink City due to the dominant color scheme of its buildings in old city.

A walled town surrounded (except to the south) by hills, the city was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh to replace nearby Amber (now Amer, a part of Jaipur) as the capital of the princely state of Jaipur (founded by the Rajputs in the 12th century CE). Jaipur grew dramatically in size in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, doubling its population between 1991 and 2011.

About VGU

About The Conference

The 4th International Conference on “Smart Materials, Automation and Sustainability (SMAS-2026)” will be held from 16th to 17th October, 2026, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, India. SMAS covers the burgeoning fields of automation in mechanical and smart materials for contemporary applications. The scientific and technological research and findings in the said areas translate into social improvements and eventual commercialization. With the rapid growth of industrialization to meet global needs and to balance the supply-demand proportion, a large number of investors are looking for the possibility of transforming their machinery operation into automation. It aims to provide a platform for academicians, researchers, and industrial personnel to share the technological advancements in the field of engineering. It serves as a forum to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends, and practical challenges encountered in the relevant fields of engineering.
SMAS-2026 aims to provide a dynamic and interdisciplinary platform for npresenting and discussing the latest advancements innsmart materials, intelligent automation, and sustainable technologies. The conference is designed to promote knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and strategic partnerships that address global sustainability challenges.
